Tasty Crock Pot Beaef Stroganoff Dishes

Beef stroganoff can be served in a variety of ways, but it’s only with a slow cooker will you be able to deliver meals that have an extra flavor, a quality that you would be hard pressed to duplicate with any other kitchen appliance.

Beef Stroganoff with Cream Sauce

This popular slow cooker recipe is made with the following ingredients: flour (1/4 cup), 2 lbs of round steak, half a teaspoon of salt, one can of mushroom (6 ounces, and remove the liquid), a medium sized onion (chopped), a couple of beef bouillon cubes, a cup of sour cream and a cup of water.

To make this dish, begin by pouring into the slow cooker the beef, onion, beef bouillon, salt and mushrooms. Set the crock pot to low, and wait for about 8 hours to let it cook fully. After that period has elapsed, open the slow cooker and pour in the sour cream and water and stir it well. While this beef stroganoff recipe is tasty enough on its own, you can also serve it with some noodles.

Ground Beef Stroganoff

This slow cooker recipe is also very simple to prepare. All you will need are a couple of garlic cloves (minced), a can of mushrooms (slice and drain the can first), pepper (1/4 teaspoon), salt (2 and a half teaspoons), a cup of beef broth, 1 and ½ cup of sour cream combined with flour (4 tablespoons) and 3 tablespoons of tomato paste.

Start by cooking the ground beef in a skillet and sprinkle some of the garlic, onions and mushrooms. You’re done cooking here when the onions turn a brownish color. Now take the beef stroganoff, the onions, garlic and mushrooms and put them in the slow cooker.

Spray some of the salt, pepper and tomato paste. Put the lid in place and set the slow cooker to high. After 4 hours, open and pour in the sour cream. Serve this with hot cooked rice.

Beef Stroganoff with Noodles

This calls for stew meat (1 lb, sliced into inch pieces), a chopped onion (medium size), condensed beef broth, mushrooms, paprika, cornstarch, water, sour cream and some cooked noodles.

Preparing this beef stroganoff dish is easy: Insert everything except the sour cream and the cornstarch into the slow cooker. Cook at a low setting, and after 9 hours, turn it up to high. When it starts to bubble, gently stir the paprika and the sour cream, allowing it to smoothen. Now add the cornstarch and some cold water,

Leave it in the slow cooker for another 15 minutes, and then it’s ready to serve.

Even if you don’t have much know how in the kitchen, whipping up a delicious beef stroganoff is an easy task with a crock pot. You just need to have the right ingredients. Add a little dedication, and you’ve got the perfect meal in your hands.
