Rich and Spicy Pork Chop Crock Pot Recipe

Pork chops are always swell meals to have. Most families enjoy rich pork chop meals together. But with the hectic work schedules most people have today, well-cooked pork chops are becoming a rarity. The best we have are hastily grilled pork chops with burned, cancerous cooking or chemical tenderizers. But wonderful pork chop crock pot recipes are here to save the day.

How about trying stuffed pork chops? There is a great pork chop crock pot recipe that is slow cooked with apples to make the dish a healthier option. For added rich flavoring, it is even stuffed with sweet, tasty bacon. Here’s how it works. We need 6 nice pork chop pieces an inch thick each, 2 to 4 bacon slices diced to small pieces, a fourth cup of finely chopped fresh celeries and a fourth cup of chopped onions.

Also, for this stuffed pork chop crock pot recipe, we need 3 apples for stuffing—peeled, cored and chopped into dices, a fourth cup of sugar, bread or biscuit crumbs about a half cup full, a pinch of salt and pepper to taste and a few chopped parsley. After we prepare all these ingredients we’re ready to set this unique pork chop crock pot recipe to work in a crock pot slow cooker.

The pork chop pieces should be an inch thick each. Into this thickness we cut a pocket to place the stuffing in. We should use a sharp knife to do this. Then we fry the bacons into a crisp, adding the celery and onion until tender enough for this pork chop crock pot recipe. We add in the chopped apples, sprinkle in sugar, and slow cook everything in the crock pot until cooked. Crock pots are designed with special timers to regulate slow cooking time. We can select the number of hours we want the pork chops to tenderize. The maximum is 8 hours.

Then, we add in the bread crumbs plus the salt and pepper. Add in the parsley, too. Then stuff all these ingredients carefully into the pockets we made into the pork chop pieces to complete the pork chop crock pot recipe. Rub the pork chop with thin salt and pepper. Fry until brown on a hot skillet. Keep heat low and add a few amount of water on the pork chops. Serves 6 persons.

This pork chop crock pot recipe is a grand meal our family and guests will surely love. It is both a healthy and tasty full meal.
