Glazed Pork Loin
If you’re looking for crock pot recipes for pork loin to try out, this is a good starting point. The ingredients you’ll need include pork loin roast (about 5 lbs), pepper, salt, apricot nectar (2 cups), brown sugar (2/3 cups), cornstarch (2 to 3 tablespoons), dry mustard (2 and ½ teaspoons) and cider vinegar (1 and a half tablespoons).
Start by spraying a generous amount of salt and pepper on the pork. Now place it inside your crock pot and add the apricot nectar, vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch and all the rest of the ingredients that you prepared. The cooking time for this recipe will depend on whether you set it high (5 hours) or low (7 to 10 hours).
After this crock pot recipe for pork loin is cooked, take some of the remaining apricot nectar and sprinkle on the dish, or alternatively, you may serve it as sauce.
Pineapple Pork Loin
You will need 4 pounds of boneless pork (sliced into small chunks), one medium sized onion (sliced), jalapeno chili peppers (3 pieces, sliced), a crushed clove garlic, lettuce (6 pieces), 3 tomatillos (canned or fresh, take your pick), cilantro (1/4 cup, crushed), and about ¼ cup of orange juice.
This crock pot recipe for pork loin will also require a cup of water, some salt and pepper.
Take the pork loin and place it in a pan along with some water, allowing it to simmer for about 90 minutes. After that time period, remove the water and put the pork into the slow cooker.
The next step is to open your blender and put in the tomatillos, orange juice, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, onions and all the rest. Blend them until they attain a smooth texture. After this concoction is blended to the desired point, return to the pork loin and sprinkle some of the salt and pepper (the amount is up to you). Set it to high and after 5 hours, it will be ready to serve.
