If you want to create a meal that will impress your guests, serving low carb slow cooker recipes will often do the trick. If you’re worried that it won’t taste right, just make the meals below and rest assured your guests will enjoy them.

Hot and Saucy Fajitas

Make this low carb slow cooker recipe with the following ingredients: a couple of cups of salsa (hot or medium hot, it depends on you), a couple of large red peppers (cut into strips), 2 pieces of green pepper (sliced in the same way), 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 2 cups of frozen corn (thaw it first), several tortillas, lime juice (1 cup), turkey breast cutlets (3 lbs, sliced into long pieces), and a cup of sour cream.

Start making this dish by cooking the turkey breasts in a broiling pan for 15 minutes. Remove it from the pan and set inside the crock pot. Pour in the juices from the pan, and add the frozen corn, green peppers, red peppers, frozen corn, sour cream, and salsa. Add the other seasonings and ingredients. Cook this dish for 7 hours at a low setting. If you are pressed for time you press “high” and it will cook in 3 to 4 hours. Pour the mixture in the tortillas.

This low carb slow cooker recipe can be eaten with a little more salsa on top of the tortillas after it is served. Or you can add some cheese instead.

Chicken with Carrots and Potatoes

This is another low carb slow cooker recipe that won’t take too much time to prepare and cook. First you need to assemble the needed ingredients: 2 lbs of chicken (remove the skin and bones, and chop into 1 inch pieces), a couple of cups of chicken broth, 4 pieces of onion (crushed), a tablespoon of cider vinegar, a teaspoon of salt, a couple of teaspoons of black ground pepper, a tablespoon of ginger, a cup of diced carrots, and a cup of diced potatoes.

Add some flavor to the chicken breasts using the salt and pepper. Set inside the frying pan and sprinkle it with onion and garlic. After cooking and sautéing, put the chicken in the slow cooker. Add the carrots, potatoes, and pour in the chicken broth. To add some more flavoring to this low carb slow cooker recipe, put in the pepper, salt, vinegar and ginger.

A lot of people prefer not to eat low carb slow cooker recipes because of the belief that it won’t taste right. Although that can be said for some dishes, it need not be the case with your meals, especially if your cook meals like the ones listed above.
