The ingredients for this recipe are the following: fresh ginger (2 inches, chopped and peeled), garlic cloves (4 pieces), 5 tablespoons of cooking oil, 6 pieces of pheasant breasts, water (450 ml), cardamom pods (1 dozen), and a couple of bay leaves.

This crock pot pheasant curry dish will also need a single cinnamon stick, a tablespoon of ground coriander, a teaspoon of cumin, 2 tablespoons of paprika, a couple of minced onions, curry powder, 8 tablespoons of yogurt, and a teaspoon of salt and pepper.

Heat the skillet and cook the pheasants (using some of the onions and garlic). As it is cooking, combine the ginger, with some more of the garlic with the water.

When both are done, put in the crock pot. Add the bay leaves, cinnamon, paprika, pepper, salt, cardamom pods, cinnamon, curry powder and the other ingredients. Put the yogurt in last, and make sure it is spread all over the pheasant. Cook for 4 hours on a high setting.
