Crock Pot Recipes for Meatballs

Not a lot of people know that there are several meatball recipes that can be prepared using the crock pot. Frozen meatballs that you buy in supermarkets will do as these meatballs will taste even more sumptuous with all the crock pot meatball recipes available today.

We would want to teach you how to prepare Meatball Corn Stew. This meatball recipe will require you to prepare three tablespoons of water, two tablespoons of cornstarch, half a cup of Parmesan cheese that is grated, a cup of Havarti cheese that is shredded, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, a teaspoon of dried marjoram leaves, 1 ½ cups of water, a ten-ounce can of condensed beef broth, a ten-ounce can of condensed cream of celery soup, a sixteen-ounce package of frozen precooked meatballs, half a cup of chopped celery, one chopped onion, two cloves of minced garlic, a ten-ounce package of frozen whole kernel corn, two peeled and cubed potatoes, and a nine-ounce package of baby carrots.

To prepare this meatball recipe, you will need a four- to five-quart crock pot wherein you will pace the celery, garlic, onion, corn, potatoes, and carrots. Such ingredients should then be topped with meatballs. Afterwards, the ten-ounce can of condensed beef broth, the ten-ounce can of condensed cream of celery soup, and 1 ½ cups of water should be poured over the ingredients already placed in the crock pot. The next step is to sprinkle marjoram on top of it all. Stir all ingredients in order to combine well. This dish should be cooked for a minimum of seven hours on low. In order to know whether the dish is already cooked, you simply have to check whether the vegetables are already tender and the frozen meatballs are already thawed and hot.

After approximately seven to nine hours of cooking on low, the crock pot should be put on high as you stir in the Havarti cheese and the Parmesan cheese. Prepare a cornstarch and water mixture by mixing two tablespoons of cornstarch with three tablespoons of water until it dissolves. Add this mixture into the crock pot and mix it with the rest of the ingredients. On high temperature, continue cooking for a maximum of twenty minutes or simply wait until the sauce thickens. This meatball recipe makes six to eight servings.

An easy-to-cook crock pot meatball recipe is called Swiss Crockpot Meatballs. This dish can be prepared in fifteen minutes and be left for seven hours until it gets cooked on its own. The first ingredients that should be combined in a three- to four-quart crock pot are a cup of brown rice, 2 ½ cups of water, and a 10-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic. Such ingredients should first be cooked for an hour on high temperature before such ingredients as one chopped onion, 40 frozen cooked meatballs, and a cup of thawed spinach are added. Make sure not to stir the ingredients placed in the crock pot. Just cover the crock pot and let it stay for six hours before stirring. You may now add two cups of shredded Swiss cheese as you stir gently in order for it to mix well with the other ingredients. Let it cook for another thirty minutes on low temperature. You will know that it is cooked because the rice becomes tender, the liquid gets absorbed, and the cheese becomes melted. This meatball recipe makes four to six servings.
