A Crock Pot Recipe for Roast Pork

The ingredients for this crock pot pork roast recipe are 1 teaspoon of curry powder, ½ teaspoon of ground ginger, 1 tablespoon of grainy mustard, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, twelve ounces or 1 jar of peach or mango chutney, 1 small clove of minced garlic or ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, pepper and salt, 1 large sliced sweet onion, and 1 boneless pork loin roast that measures a maximum of four pounds.

The pork loin roast must be washed and patted dry in order to trim excess fat. In the bottom of a crock pot that measures five to seven quarts, the sliced sweet onion should be placed. Sprinkle pepper and salt on the pork loin roast before rubbing it with minced garlic or with garlic powder. Now, you can put the pork loin roast inside the slow cooker or the crock pot.

The remaining ingredients should all be combined which should then be poured over the pork loin roast. However, aside from the one hour initial cooking time, you will have to set it for an additional three to four hours on high temperature.

After cooking, the pork loin roast should be removed from the crock pot. The juice should also be removed and placed into a saucepan. Let the juice simmer for approximately eight minutes before stirring in a mixture of one tablespoon of cornstarch and one tablespoon of cold water. Wait until the juice thickens.
